At this very moment, the effects of my journey to the Japanese Garden is still on me. I can’t believe that I’ve been visiting that place all my life but never had a picture of me with the nature. Now, I finally had, not just one, but more. I am also glad to have spend the day with my closest friend.
So here we go. The best way to travel to Japanese Garden is through your personal car, but if you are some kind of “pennyless traveler”, you have to take the Cavinti - Lumot Trip from Sta. Cruz. From Manila, take a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. DLTB, HM, and Greenstar offers trips to Sta. Cruz. Then get off at Sta.Cruz, Sambat. From Sambat, take a jeepney going to Sta. Cruz (bayan). Then get off at Mercury Drug (Palenke). Canvinti-Lumot Terminal is in front of Donna More store, near Mercury Drug (palengke). Don’t take the CAVINTI trip, it has to have LUMOT in its signage.Japanese Garden is just along the highway so you can see it from the jeepney you are in. Entrance fee is just 20 pesos.
Japanses Garden is a perfect place for soul-searching, re-thinking life, and just time to breath the fresh air of Laguna while emptying your mind and fill it up with thoughts that makes you happy. You can also do silent retreats and life-realizations if you can’t decide on something.
Where You go, I’ll go Where You stay, I’ll stay When You move, I’ll move I will follow You Whom You love, I love How You serve, I’ll serve If this life I lose, I will follow You #lyrics #IWillFollow #vsco

So, I went there with my friend Apple. We actually planned visiting a book warehouse at Pasig City, but planned visiting the Japanese Garden instead. We actually want to re-think our lives and just think of all the things that God wants us to do.

Well, I’ve been going to the garden since I was a kid, but it’s just yesterday that I get to explore it more.
Here’s a photo of the playground where I used to play. So sad that it’s no longer usable. I can still remember how happy I was with my cousins while playing here. The photo below is my favorite spot.

Japanese Garden is a very old place. It’s actually a peace offering of Japan to the Philippines after causing wars way back 1930s? Correct me if am wrong.
So, just a reminder. Random raining is usual in the garden. And there are some spots where you are not allowed to bring food. Please, keep the area clean. :)
There are Sta. Cruz jeepneys passing through the highway, you just have to wait. If you can’t wait, tricycles are waiting in from the the gate, but it cost 50 pesos per head and it’s just until Lumban. Then at Lumban Palengke, take Sta. Cruz jeep.
Hope you could come and visit Japanese Garden! Happy Journeying! God bless!
